Carson is 4!

Well Im not sure when, but it finally happened...Carson has turned 4! It seems like just yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital....then again we have done that alot in his life so I guess thats why it feels like that haha! We werent going to have anything big but then we found out we were babysitting Tarons nieces and nephew, one of which shares a birthday with Carson so we decided to have a BBQ for them. Well we had chicken sandwhiches and salad followed by cake! Half boy candles for Carson and half girl candles for Kymmie. Carsons candle in the front kept relighting itself like 3 times, he thought that was so funny! I love this picture of Gavin, It reminded Taron and I of those sponor a child pictures, so..... For less than $1.00 a day you can bring a smile to the face of this child clean water, food, and oppurtunity. You will recieve hand written letters and pictures from your child, HEHE!

The kids loved the cake!

Carson got brand new shoes from Grandma Patty! At first he said I dont want this present because it wasnt wrapped but when he opened it he gasped and said how cool they were.

He also got clothes, coloring books, books, crayons, some monies (as he says) but his favorites are his swords and shields set and his movies. Everyone was so sweet to him and he really loves all his presents!

I wanted to write some things down about Carson, he is such an amazing kid! He is my little buddy, little dude, duder, Cars, Jace, Jacer, and some other random nick names. He is an amazing big brother and even though he likes to make Gavin react by taking his blankie or toy he absolutely adores his little brother. He is becoming so good at tumbling he recently learned to do a front flip over the bar all by himself! He also does summersaults, cartwheels, horsey kicks, all kinds of jumps, mat work, and springboard stuff! He is getting more comfortable in the water and we are able to get him to swim without us holding him sometimes. He is the silly boy, always trying to make you laugh. He loves LOVES music and can name many songs within a few notes, knows the words, and sometimes the name of the artist. He really likes Green Day, Bruno Mars, Lifehouse, Conway twitty, Alabama, and all his Primary songs and many many many more! Its amazing how good he is with lyrics and songs. He is a talker and if I let him he will tak to me you and everyone else for hours on end. He loves his daddy, definitely a daddys boy! He loves movies and playing with his friends Eli and Ronin. I am so thankful everyday to get the chance to be his mommy and be in his life, watching him grow and learn is the best! He is a blonde haired blue eyed charmer with some seriously sweaty and stinky feet! He is 41 and 3/8 inches tall, thats the 75% and 34.6lb which is in the 50%. He LOVES Lagoon and visiting his grandparents. I am so proud of this little guy, he has been through a TON of stuff and he handles it so well. He amazes me everyday! Happy 4th Birthday little dude, I love ya!

Bear Lake!

On the 2nd of July we decided to go to Bear Lake, in reality we didnt think the boys would like it that much and we would only be ther for 10 minutes but once we settle in they had a blast and we were there for over 3 hours! Carson hated the sand until we got it wet. The wonderful people next to us loaned him some toys to play with, we didnt bring anything since we didnt think they would like it.

After this we stopped and had burgers at La Beaus! We had a Raspberry shake and the boys had corn dogs! It was so much fun watching my boys play. They ended up loving it which surprised us and we decided we will go again...but this time we will go prepared!

4th of July!

We had a blast this 4th of July! First we went to the parade in Riverdale, the boys loved trying to catch candy and watching the floats, it was really really busy though. Then we walked over to the park for Old Glory Days. Carson got to dunk our friend Ammon in the dunk tank which he though was awesome! Carson threw 4 balls and was so close to hitting the target I was impressed, then we ran up and pushed the button and he fell in, the splash was so big me and Carson got soaked also!

Then we went and won 2 fish that the boys named Nemo and Dory (of coarse) and came home for some down tme. We played in the backyard.

We played in the sprinklers and had popsicles! Then we watched a movie while waiting for the fireworks.

After the movie we went into the backyard because fromt there we can see South Ogden and Riverdale fireworks. The boys were pretty scared because earlier in the week they had a bad experience so at first they were both scared.Since Carson had surgery on his ears the week before they were still sensitive so I put some ear plugs in and he fell asleep.I decided to try earplugs on Gavin also and within minutes of putting them in he fell asleep also.Earlier in the week we had been watching fireworks with friends when one of the 150ft ones tipped over and shot at the people watching. Carson was hit in the face and clothes but wasnt burned, Me and Taron had burns on our clothes but Gavin got some hair singed off in the shape of a circle.and he got a 2nd degree burn on his leg, this pic is after it started healing, it left a little scar but luckily no one was seriously injured, the boys are really scared of fireworks now so I am REALLY glad they are over for this year! It was a fun 4th of July!

and the winner is....

Gavin competed in the baby contest for Riverdale 4th of July. It was so much fun and he did win something!

It was a blast. He also came in 3rd in the diaper dash! Go Gavin!

Carsons surgery....again!

Carson had his 6th set of tubes put in at Primary Childrens Medical Center on June 27th. He was such a brave boy. Here he is in the cute PJ's! They placed butterfly tubes, which are perminent tubes that will have to be surgically removed and the hole closed later. They cleaned the scar tissue out of his ear canals, checked his adenoids and tonsils and cleaned everything up. They gave him a buddy that they allowed him to do all the things to the buddy that they were going to do to him before the surgery. A pulse ox, a blood pressure, listen with a stetheschope, dress and color him,

put on an oxygen mask,place and hang an IV,and do surgery on his ears, it was so so so cute, and he still sleeps with his buddy every night.

Well this was by far the toughest surgery yet, he threw up a ton after, all over me, they had to bring me scrubs to wear! He threw up in the car on the way home, just really really miserable so hopefully its the last one! Here we are going home with buddy!
Well we go back for a follow up hearing test and surgery checkup on the 10th of August! Here is to hoping this fixes the problems!

Air Show

We took the boys down the air show at the airport in Wendover. It was SO fun! They loved watching the airplanes. Here is Carson talking to the lifeflight team nurse!Carson and Daddy checking out this awesome retired plane, Carson loved seeing the gun!

We were there all day so finally Gavin just had enough and fell asleep.

They had so much fun, Carson hated the F-16 because they were way to loud but did love the F-14 show. Gavin loved it all.

Tumbling

Carson had his tumbling show! They usually do a big event but due to family budgets they decided to just do a class show! Carson and Eli had a blast. Here is his class lined up and ready to perform. Mom, Dad, and Carson!

After we went to Chic-fil-A to celebrate! It was so fun and Carson moved to the next level! Go buddy!

WINNER WINNER!

So we were at lagoon and decided to let the boys play a game with their cousins. So Kymmie who is 9, Trevor who is 5, Carson who is almost 4 throw 14 balls and win NOTHING! Gavin picks up the last ball and chucks it and........ Yup wins a JUMBO smurf!

We were blown away! He was so excited and now Carson sleeps with it every night!

Preschool Graduation!

Well I know its a bit late but my Carson graduated Preschool! It was a joy school and we had alot of fun, these are all the kids in his class. Lucas, Eli, Sadie, Carter, Haylee, Andrew, Mabry, and Carson!All the moms stood to give out the diplomas.

After we took Carson to a pizza party at the pizza factory, he played games and had a blast celebrating his graduation! I was so proud of him he really had to overcome some fears and obstacles but he pulled through and did so well, GOOD JOB BUD!
