Gavin...again...
Well I just had to post our good news, as of the 16th of June our little Gavin weighed.....15 pounds 1 ounce! That is a 14 ounce GAIN since increasing his calories in his formula to 24 calories an ounce (5 scoops formula~3 ounces water). The doc at Primary Childrens feels "Much more optimistic than 2 weeks ago and still believes we are dealing with milk protein intolerance" We are very pleased with the gain but still have some concerns about him maintaining the gaining, which has not happened once in his little life. The doc said if he does not have a consistant gain on the next weigh in (4 weeks) then they will biopsy his bowels however he feels we have finally addressed all the issues and we will in fact see a consistant gain for the first time. We are taking this one as a win! Yeah GAV!

Splashpad!
oh baby Gavin!
Well lets start with the bad news. Gavin was reweighed today and has only gained 2 ounces in over 2 weeks. Now we are on a even more specialized formula that can only be bought from the Enfamil company and online, better be careful we dont run out! Well he also has to increase the concentration from normal to 5 scoops for every 4 ounces, this will increase his calories. We also will see the doc on the 16th again. Whew how exausting. Now the good news! He is rolling, and Im not talking about 1 time he is rolling clear across the living room! He is rolling to get toys. Why so exciting you ask? Carson didnt ever roll like this he just didnt like to roll so its exciting to see Gavin rolling as a mode of transportation. Yeah GAV!
