Dinosaur Museum!

So we had to take a trip to Nephi to watch my niece graduate, on our way home we stopped at the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point. Well Gavin LOVES Cars and Carson LOVES Pirate but they both LOVE dinosaurs! The boys had the time of their lives, First we went into to science room and played with all sorts of cool science experiments. Once we got inside the museum the boys were so excited to see everything!

They loved the hands on exhibits, touching and investigating the fossils!

They loved looking at the bones! The exhibits were so fun for them, Gavin especially loved anything that looked like Rexi (T-rex).

They loved this room, it had a cave that they could crawl through. Carson had to show Gavin how because he was scared.

Gavin would get so excited over everything, he would jump and point and tell me all about everything he was seeing.

Gavin found a set of dinosaurs to play with and was intent on taking them all home, he was devastated to put them back.

This exhibit wanted you to touch and feel, Carson has a hard time with tactile discrimination so he would always peek at what he was touching in order to describe it and match it.

After we walked though the entire museum we found the sand and water play area, an entire room with sand, water, and little dinos. They were both in heaven they didnt ever want to leave. I was worried about sand getting in Gavins burn but he didnt seem to care at all.

The boys thought this was hilarious!
Then we found the digging and excavating exhibit, they got to use brushes to try and uncover dinosaur bones!

It was such a fun day, they boys really really enjoyed the dinosaur museum and so did I! It is a great memory that we will always share, I sure love these boys!

Gavins First Haircut!

This is Gavin just last fall, with no hair at all! For some reason this winter it just grew and grew and grew! So Finally....at nearly 3 years old....

Gavin had his first haircut EVER!
Just to give you and idea of why I would cut it now, this is generally how he looks after a nap or in the morning, this was my battle every day!

Now do you blame me for cutting it! So we went to Cookie Cutters hair cutters for kids, I knew this was the only way he would let this happen.

He loved the play area!

These were all of our choices for cutting stations, he was so excited!

Here is the back of his hair before the cut, so long and lovely but so ready for a trim.

The side.

The front!

He was so excited to get into the police car but was not as thrilled with the cape. I think its so cute!

Well after a battle we just took off the cape and the shirt and he did so well!

Watching cartoons!

All done, What a big big boy! What a smile!

Well off we go with the free sucker and balloon, it was so much fun! Gavin was s champ and he looks much better!

Although on the sides all that hair was from the top of his head so he is a little bald on each side but thats ok, it will grow in....I hope!

Carson Graduates Preschool!

Here is the graduating class of Joy School Riverdale 2012! Carson's last year in preschool! Next year we are off to Kindergarten so this was bitter-sweet!
And the silly boys with silly faces!
Singing their songs, Carson did an amazing job! I was really worried because sometimes he really gets nervous in front of people and can have a panic attack but we really tried to prepare him, I even had people compliment me on how well he did, that he remembered all the words and sang so loud! I was so proud of him!
Little Gavi watching brother! He calls him his best brother!
Carson with his diploma!
Our attempt at a family picture, not going so well!
Our forced family picture, our boys look so happy!
Me and my little guy! I am so so proud of him. He has come a long long long way, he works so hard and tries so hard on everything he does. He loves music and he loves to be silly. He is super smart and loves asking about a billion questions about EVERYTHING! He is always willing to try and answer the questions in school, even if he is not sure what the answer is. He is super excited for Kindergarten! He has the best laugh and the sweetest spirit! He is kind and generous and makes friends so easily and loves to play with everyone. I could not be any more proud of this little guy!
