Halloween!

Halloween was so fun this year. I took Carson to some trunk-or-treats and as soon as he realized he was getting candy he was thrilled. We then walked to a neighbors house and had some homemade wassle! Carson was so tired when he got home he wouldnt let me take his picture but I was able to snap a few. He looked so cute in his yoda costume and it was hilarious to hear all the horrible impressions of yoda that everyone did for him. Gavin was such a cute pea pod it just melted my heart. It was fun to finally have someone to celebrate with since Taron HATES Halloween and I love it. So sad but so cute!
Halloween socks that looked adorable!

Oh my little baby!

The Cast!

On the 29th of October Carson got his cast off, I didnt realize that I never even blogged about it!~ Well Carson got a full arm cast on his arm it went around all his fingers except his thumb (thats the little stub sticking out) up to his arm pit. He seemed to adjust just fine to it. The green part is to protect the thumb from getting cut on the cast and we could change it from green to blue. He loved changing the colors. He had it on for 5 weeks totaling the amount of time in a splint or cast to 9 weeks.

When they took the cast off they had to use a saw, he thought that was interesting he didnt even cry but when she put the scissors out to cut the gauze he freaked out. He has been so brave through this whole ordeal. His hand was so so stinky and his fingernails were long and yellow, it was disgusting. He is very protective of his hand now that it is out of the cast. He didnt use it at all for the first few days, then he started using it now he is not again. We start physical therapy in 3 weeks. He was supposed to go into a splint but the doc didnt think he would keep it on so he has this strap that holds the injured finger to the next one to protect it. I will get a picture of the actual scars when he will let me. These were taken right after the cast came off.
You can see his long nasty nails in this one.
We asked him if we should put the cast back on and he said NO and ran as fast as he could in the other room, it was cute but kinda mean I guess. Well I will keep you in the loop.
