Just another day at preschool!!!

Preschool has been one of the best decisions we made for Carson, he has improved on social skills, pencil holding skills, and has learned a TON already. I wanted to show the fun field trips we have been on this year so far.
First we went to the Riverdale Fire Station. We got to go inside the fire trucks and ambulance, we met a real fireman in his fire suit and talked about not hiding from them. Carson even got his own HAT!Next we went to South Ogden Police Station where me met a real police man! He showed us his car and we got to look in the holding cells. When Carson looked in the holding cell and saw the potty he really wanted to use it because he thought it was cool but GROSS I was not letting him in there! Our next adventure was my favorite so far! We went to Black Island Farm. We learned about fruits and veggies and how they grow.
Played in a corn box!
We got to ride on the train! Mommy didnt fit very well!

Carson rode this tire Shark!
We loved riding the big slide together!
Then we rode the wagon out and picked pumpkins, Gavins was really small!
Carson just couldnt decide which one he wanted but finally he picked one, we were the last back on the wagon.
We fed the animals which he thought was hilarious!
Just last week we RODE HORSES!!! He was really scared so I rode with him at first but then he really was brave and did it all by himself! Then me and Gavin rode, he LOVED it, I knew he would he is very adventurous! He laughed and giggled and when he had to get off he cried and said "more more"
Then we fed the donkey apples!Preschool has been very fun and I have enjoyed watching Carson learn, face fears, and work hard. I am so glad we chose to start preschool this year!

Gavin is 1 Lets Celebrate!

Well it happened, Gavin turned 1~ I cried at walmart picking up the invites haha. When Carson turned one I posted a bunch of pics and I wanted to do the same for Gavin! This is him having a Birthday Licorice! I love the one finger up showing us he is 1! I wanted to show some pics from his life because he has been such a wonderful, strong, amazing kid so far. During my pregnancy he was so calm all the time, he hardly moved and was so relaxed. Unfortunately I still had the preterm labor and regardless of all of our hard work he was born at 35 weeks 6 days. I was so glad we did the steroid shots because he was pretty healthy. He did have to go to transitional NICU due to blood sugar issues. He was such a good baby!
He was 5lb 14oz and had the smallest head, his head was so small that the nurses had to find a special hat to fit him, since he didnt have name until right before we left the hospital the nurses just called him tiny, or little, because he was so small! At 2 weeks he was the perfect baby, slept through the night, so calm and relaxed. He was just wonderful!
At 2 months he was blessed by his daddy, I loved his little bow tie! At 4 months he was diagnosed with malabsorption, malnutrition, and FTT. He was sent to Primary Childrens Gastroenterology for testing. Regardless of all he was going through he was the happiest baby, no fussing, no crying, he never had colic. He was pleasant all the time and I just adored him!I went on a no dairy diet to rule out milk protein intolerance. I loved watching him grow and learn, he found joy in everything and could always be found with a smile. At 6 months old he was placed on strictly formula due to weight gain issues and continues malabsorption regardless of the no dairy diet I had been following nursing him.
He has some incredible blue eyes that just shine with life, At 9 months and less than 10 pounds he was placed on an elemental formula at a high calorie mix. He finally started gaining weight! Watching him learn to sit and roll and move he would find such joy in his accomplishments. He was so proud of himself every time he would do something and would look to us for our praises!
He absolutely LOVES his big brother, they play so well together, he will follow him around and try to be like him. So far Carson has taught him to put his and like a gun and say BANG, he has taught him so many other things and I just cant help but smile when I see them together. It melts my heart! Well it happened one day all of the sudden...
His birthday was a blast, thankfully it was so warm we could be outside. He had never ever in his life had cake or anything like it so I made him a special dairy free cake. He ate and ate and LOVED every minute! I loved watching him enjoy something tastey! I am so so so proud to be the mom of this sweet sweet little boy, he is an incredible spirit and so calm. I know that he has a special reason for being in my home and I know he will accomplish alot in his life, he is driven and quiet but when he wants to talk he will say the craziest words. He is so so wonderful and I am blessed to be his mom.

First day of Pre-school!

On Tuesday Sept 7th Carson had his first day of PRESCHOOL! What a little handsome guy! Well I was worried because on Monday he woke up with a stuffy nose and I was not going to send him but the other moms said it was OK! Here he is going to the door! The first teacher is just across the street so here we are walking over!
Here is some of the group sitting on their carpet squares.

Carson and his carpet square!

Here are 2 of his friends Eli and Maybre going inside!
He brought home a paper with his name outlined in popcorn and name puzzle cut from paper when you put it together it has his name. He said they sang criss-cross-applesauce and played outside. Im so glad he has started school and I cant wait to see what he learns.

mmm popsicles!

Well everynight after bath and if Carson behaves to put on his Jammies we have a popsicle.
Well since Gavin cant have most things we decided it was time for him to have a popsicle to!

It went really well when I gave him some...And then Carson tried and Gavin bit off the end...and got REALLY REALLY MAD! He did not like that cold in his mouth but once it was gone he wanted another taste.
I love watching him experience the world and this was just so cute!

Carsons birthday party!!!

Well Carson had his 3rd birthday so we had a couple parties for him. We had his party with Tarons family on Sunday the 22nd. We were supposed to have it in Mantua at the campground but a big storm came through so we ended up at Grandma Sharees. Carson and Daddy waiting to blow out the candles...The Buzz Lightyear Cake...The boys eating cupcakes! Then it was time for presents. He got lots of good stuff but then I got worried when we were invited to open Grandpa Randys present outside...

Well meet Carsons new gift..Buzz Bird..as named by Carson. Grandpa Randy raises homing pigeons and gave Carson one ... luckily it will stay at Grandpas!

It was a cute birthday...thanks everyone for coming!
Earlier in the week on Thursday the 19th we had a birthday party with Moms family...

It was supposed to be outside at the Riverdale Splashpad but it rained to that morning we were looking all over for a cheap alternative. So Nicklecade it is. The kids loved the arcade...even Gavi got to play...

He really loved opening presents and he got a BIG Buzz Lightyear from mom, dad, and Gavi. He LOVED this BUZZ and had kept asking to visit it at the store so I gave in and bought.

I made his cake, it had lots of Buzz Lightyear because that is his favorite!

Tienna and Carson shooting guns! This was the party for my family so all of his cousins were there.

Carson had a lot of fun at his party and I was so relieved with all the rain but it all turned out ok.

Happy 3rd Birthday Carson!!!
