Flood!

There is a beautiful walkway in Riverdale not to far from our house. Its right next to the Weber River...but now I guess its right in the Weber river. As of today this was the extent of the flooding. This is a walkway under the road. The Parking lot...

GO FLY A KITE!

For Carsons birthday last year he got a really cool Buzz Lightyear kite. He has been getting it out almost everyday and BEGGING to fly it, it just has not worked out. Well the other day it was super windy here and kinda warm so we decided to take Buzz out for a flight! Carson loved flying his kite and he did such a good job, we were there for over an hour just playing with the kite, he even did it all by himself!

OH BOY GAVIN! We decided we all needed pics in our cool glasses!

What a fun day! It was a blast with my boys and hopefully its windy and warm again soon!

OH NO!

So the other day we were just hanging out at home and we noticed we had not heard from the boys for awhile. Just then Gavin walks in....his hair COVERED in glue and glitter! We were laughing so hard because we could not figure out how Carson got Gavin to sit long enough to paste him with glue and then coat that in glitter. Carson said he just told him to stand there, luckily he doesnt have much hair so it came out easily. I asked Carson why he did it and he said to make Gavin pretty. Good enough reason I guess...

Valentines day!

For Valentines Carson made his first Valentines box for preschool! He did such a good job! We got the boys a little treat! These adorable Mickey Mouse suckers for our present to them! They loved them so much and thought they were yummy! We thought they were really cute to....Until we realized the black was rubbing onto EVERYTHING!...But it was adorable to watch them eat the suckers anyway!It seems like every holiday is so much fun with kids! Random fun!

Our house has been a random pit of fun lately so I thought I would share some of the happening! Carson got really stuck trying to crawl through the stools like Gavin does!

Fun times with our friends!

The newest form of fun is giving Gavin rides in on the back of the trike! They both will just giggle and giggle! Our primary is really pushing reading scriptures this year and Carson is doing great! He loves his Book of Mormon Reader!

Gavin is a little heart stealer with those big blues!

They are best friends now..I find them playing together laughing together and it makes my heart melt! I love that they are so close!

Carsons new favorite toys are his Mr. Potatoe heads and thanks to Grandma we have alot for him to play with now!

Wow thats one big balloon!

Preschool has been a blast and the field trip to Krispy Kream was so fun! They showed us how the doughnuts were made and then we all got to eat a fresh one! (except Gavin :)) Aunt Michelle was with us and that was a big help plus the boys adore her!

Baby Gavin loves empty bottles....

Carson having a snow day at preschool! He looks so cute in his snow clothes! He absolutely loves the snow and will run, roll, jump, lay, and play in it every chance he gets!

He loves his MP3 player it has stories and songs and he loves to listen to them!

Christmas!

Christmas was so much fun this year, Carson was a blast. He loves santa and couldnt wait to see him EVERY time we went to the mall. He was excited for Christmas and that made the whole thing a blast! This year Taron got Strep Throat on the 23rd and ended up in Urgent care! Thank goodness I took the kids in for preventative antibiotics because when they tested them they were already positive for Strep...luckily we all got treatment so it didnt ruin the holiday! On Christmas eve we went to the movie, like we do every year with my family but Taron and Gavin stayed home because Taron was still under the weather. Carson and I went with my family and saw YOGI BEAR in 3D! Carson looked so cute with the glasses on, he is a blast to take to the movie because he LOVES it so much! After the movie we went home and got pizza and finally when it was bedtime Carson was way to wound up to even consider it! He didnt go to bed until midnight because he was so excited!!! Sometime during the night Santa came and put presents under the tree, this is what it looked like!These were the "big" gifts! I was so excited to see them get these! Finally at 930 Gavin woke up, then we had to wake Carson so we could all get up at the same time! As expected Carson RAN to the big boy bike and jumped on, he LOVES this thing, after all the presents were opened we took him outside and he tried to ride, he did pretty good for a first timer! Gavin was SO SO excited about his rocket!! He climbed right on without help and giggled and laughed, he LOVES this thing!The crazy mess after presents!Well they got alot of fun stuff, Carson got an MP3 player for his songs and books, a bike, some books for his story reader, woody and bullseye, socks, a leapster and some games. Gavin got a radio flyer rocked, new cups with his name on them, a puppy piggybank, a little car toy, socks, and more fun toys! Well these two toys are definitely the favorites! They love to sit next to eachother and play on their new rocket and bike! It was an awesome Christmas and I am so thankful for the people in my life that were willing to help us out! We had an amazing Christmas and I cant wait for next year!

Gavins surgery!

Well Gavin finally had his bowel biopsy on January 5th, it was something we have been waiting for for about 10 months. It started on the 4th with some prep in the morning to clean him out, at noon he had to go on a clear liquid diet until 10am the next day, after that he had to eat and drink nothing. We got to the hospital at noon and got him all dressed in his little jammies but he HATED them, or he was just really hungry and thursty!Our surgery was scheduled at 130p but come to find out the OR is late about 2 hrs! We did lots of playing in the meantime! This little wagon was his FAVORITE Toy but he wouldnt let go of the handle to pull him around so I had to push him.

He loved anything he could ride on!

Finally at 230p we did get in the OR, thank goodness! About an hour later he was done! They called me to PACU because he was fussy but when I got there they had given him morphine and he slept for about an hour, I finally woke him up so we could go home...his little IV...he hated it so much and when he woke up he just kept pointing to it and saying NO and OFF.

Well we learnedhe really loves morphine and when I woke him he finally drank 3 sippy cups of juice! Well the results all came back normal, they dont know why he is having weight gain trouble but we will keep doing what we are doing...

Nativity!

Carson and his preschool class put together a nativity program for Christmas. This is the pre-program huddle! They were all bribed with little flutes to listen and do what they practiced! Carson chose the Innkeeper, come to find out, he was the only one with a speaking part! It was SO cute watching them act out the Nativity! Here is Carson telling Joseph and Mary "No Room" and he did it! I was so proud!

Well here is the star of the show! Carson the Innkeeper! He looked so good and I was so proud that he remembered his line and was able to stand in front of everyone and say it! What an awesome job!
